第一次來台灣，把「最值得體驗」的自然、夜市、文化、溫泉、離島五類一次講清楚——怎麼排、怎麼去、要注意什麼。

第一次規劃台灣行程，最常卡住的不是「有什麼好玩」，而是「這麼多想去的，到底怎麼排、怎麼去、值不值得」。台灣不大，一條高鐵就能從北到南，但一趟旅程可以同時塞進高山日出、海島浮潛、逛到半夜的夜市、市區就能到的溫泉，還有廟宇老街的日常煙火氣。以下把這幾件事分成五類，順著交通、自然、夜市、文化、溫泉、離島一路說到行前準備，讀完你會知道下一步怎麼動。

先把交通搞懂，後面的行程才排得動。台灣自助最省心的兩件事，是先辦一張悠遊卡，再學會用高鐵。悠遊卡（EasyCard）是感應式儲值卡，能搭台北捷運、公車，也擴及全台多個城市的大眾運輸，還能在 7-11、全家、萊爾富等超商、部分計程車與景點小額付款；捷運站與各大超商都買得到、也都能加值。用悠遊卡搭捷運通常比買單程票便宜，捷運轉公車（或反向）在一小時內還有轉乘折扣，對外國旅客來說，這是落地後第一件該辦的事。詳細票種與加值方式以the official EasyCard Corporation website為準，想更完整了解，也可以看我們的Transport Guide。高鐵（THSR）則沿西部走廊行駛，從台北（甚至南港）一路到高雄左營，全程站點包含南港、台北、板橋、桃園、新竹、苗栗、台中、彰化、雲林、嘉義、台南、左營。最快車次台北到左營約 1 小時 34 分，讓「早上台北、下午台南或高雄」變成可行的一日行程；班次密集、每日超過 70 班，購票與時刻請以official HSR websitefor tickets and timetables (early-bird tickets require advance booking).

自然、夜市、文化、溫泉：五類體驗怎麼玩

自然是台灣最有記憶點的部分。阿里山是一片平均約 2500 公尺的群峰，能遠眺台灣最高峰玉山，招牌體驗是搭百年歷史的阿里山森林鐵路，這條窄軌鐵道用 Z 字形折返爬升、穿越數十座隧道；清晨到觀日平台等一場從雲海上升起的日出，是台灣最經典的山景照，建議在山上住一晚，才趕得上清晨的日出車次。日月潭曾是台灣最大的天然湖，如今是兼具發電與生態的水庫，也是邵族的原鄉，環湖自行車道景色開闊，租車繞湖、搭遊船跳點，適合放慢步調待上一兩天。花蓮的太魯閣以大理石峽谷聞名，是東部的代表景點，但自 2024 年 4 月地震後，園區多處步道與路段受損、分階段整修，開放範圍時有變動；前往前務必先查the official Taroko National Park website的最新公告，別直接照舊路線排行程，更多東部玩法見Hualiencategory.

逛夜市是最快融入台灣的方式，攤位密集、邊走邊吃、價格親民，多數還直接開在捷運站旁。以台北為例，士林夜市是規模最大的夜市之一，範圍橫跨數個街廓，地下美食街在 2025 年 4 月整修後重新開放，搭捷運淡水信義線到劍潭站即達；饒河街觀光夜市則是一條約 600 公尺的直線街，兩端有牌樓、動線單純，還有多個米其林必比登推薦攤位，搭松山新店線到松山站 5 號出口。南台灣的台南、高雄也各有特色夜市，想深入吃可搭配Taiwan Food Guide一起看。文化體驗則不必刻意「找景點」，它就在日常裡：香火鼎盛的廟宇、保留老屋的街區，以及世界級的故宮博物院。台北的萬華、大稻埕，台南的孔廟與老街，都適合半天慢慢走；把一段文化半日安插在夜市或溫泉行程之間，節奏會很剛好，想規劃整體路線可參考Taiwan Itinerary Planning。溫泉更是台灣冬天的招牌，而且市區也泡得到——台北北投是外國旅客最方便的溫泉區，搭捷運到北投站、轉新北投支線再一站到新北投站，溫泉區就在眼前；想看奇景可到地熱谷（俗稱「地獄谷」），那是一池青綠、冒著硫磺蒸氣的酸性溫泉源頭，水溫常年約 85–100°C，只能觀賞、不能下水，地熱谷本身免費入場，真正泡湯請選公共浴池或溫泉旅館。台灣的溫泉旺季落在 12 月到 3 月的涼冷月份。

想看海就往離島跑。每座島個性不同、交通方式也不一樣，行前先確認船班與航班。小琉球位於屏東外海，是台灣唯一的珊瑚礁島，最大賣點是環島海域的大量綠蠵龜，浮潛或潛水幾乎都看得到，前往方式是從東港（或高雄）搭船。澎湖群島是台灣人氣最高的海島度假地之一，有多座沙灘與浮潛、潛水、風帆等水上活動，從台中、高雄等地有國內線班機直飛，造訪的最佳季節多落在 4 到 9 月。綠島的朝日溫泉是世界少見的海水溫泉，能一邊泡湯一邊看海，前往通常先到台東，再搭約 50 分鐘的船或轉國內線班機。離島交通與住宿變動大，班次、票價請以船公司與航空公司官方為準，住宿可先看Accommodation Recommendations。

Frequently Asked Questions

How many days is ideal for a self-guided trip to Taiwan?

For a first visit to Taiwan, we recommend at least 5 to 7 days. Five days is enough to explore Taipei thoroughly plus one trip to central or southern Taiwan (such as Taichung and Sun Moon Lake, or Tainan and Kaohsiung); if you want to add an outlying island or Alishan, a 7- to 10-day itinerary is more relaxed. Taiwan isn't large, but there's still travel time between destinations, so don't pack your schedule too tightly.

Do foreign travelers need a visa to visit Taiwan?

Travelers from many countries enjoy visa-free entry, and most are granted a stay of up to 90 days (a few countries get 14 to 30 days). The visa-free list and permitted length of stay are subject to change, and you usually need to fill out an arrival card online before entry. Always refer to the latest announcements on the official Bureau of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs website (boca.gov.tw).

Is an EasyCard all I need?

For city transport and small purchases at convenience stores, the EasyCard covers almost everything. But for the High Speed Rail (HSR), some outlying-island ferry sailings, and long-distance intercity travel, it's still best to buy tickets separately or book online. Carry some cash too, as traditional markets and some small stalls may not accept cards.

What's the best season to visit Taiwan?

Autumn (around October to November) usually brings stable weather and lower humidity, making it a popular travel season. Summer (June to September) is great for the outlying islands and the beach, but watch out for typhoons; for hot springs, the cool months from December to March are the most comfortable. Check the Central Weather Administration forecast before making plans.

Can I visit Taroko Gorge right now?

After the April 2024 earthquake, many trails and road sections in Taroko Gorge are still being repaired in phases, and the areas open to visitors change from time to time. Before you set out, check the announcements on the Taroko National Park official website to confirm which trails and transport routes are accessible, then decide whether to include it in your itinerary.
