The observatory is open to general visitors for ticket purchase. Ticket types are divided into full-price and concession tickets, and there's also a skip-the-line fast-pass option. 購票管道有兩種：一是現場到售票櫃台買，二是先在網路平台訂好、到現場出示核銷碼再換票。要提醒的是，售票與入口位置近期有調整（曾在 5 樓，官方另公告移至辦公大樓 1 樓等安排），出發前建議先看官方最新公告確認集合點，免得到現場找不到入口。營業時間一般為 10:00–21:00，最後入場時間約在 20:15（實際以官方公告為準，颱風或包場日可能調整）。至於幾點上去最好，就看你想拍什麼：想拍白天清楚市景，挑天氣晴朗的上午能見度最好；想同時看日景加夜景，日落前 30–60 分鐘上去，可以一路看到華燈初上，是很多人推薦的黃金時段，但也最多人；真的怕人潮，平日非連假、開門後的第一批或接近最後入場時段通常較鬆。

怎麼搭捷運去，以及周邊還能玩什麼

The most direct way is to take the Taipei MetroTamsui–Xinyi Line (Red Line)toto "Taipei 101/World Trade Center Station", then from Exit 4出站步行約 2–5 分鐘就到 101 大樓，沿路有指標，帶行李或推車也可找無障礙電梯出口。若你搭到板南線（藍線）的「市政府站」，從 2 號出口走過來大約 10–15 分鐘，會經過信義商圈，順路逛街也不錯。捷運全線可用悠遊卡（EasyCard）感應進出，一卡在手最方便，不必每次買單程票。
