第一次來台灣、只有五天，這是我實際帶外國朋友走過的動線：台北進出、用高鐵拉一趟台中當變化，讓你同時看到現代城市、夜市小吃、山邊自然與一點文化，又不會走馬看花或累死。

只有五天要塞進台北和台中，關鍵是動線別繞、交通別亂換。這份行程的邏輯很單純：前兩天把台北市區走順，第三天往北海岸或九份跑一趟近郊，第四天用高鐵殺去台中，第五天留給採買與機場交通。你可以直接照抄，也可以把某一天換成自己想去的地方——它是骨架，不是規定。先給你一張全局表，時間只是參考，台灣大眾運輸密集、臨時調換不難。

出發前先把三件事辦好

真正會影響體驗的準備其實只有三樣：免簽、入境卡、上網與交通卡。免簽的部分，台灣對許多國家旅客提供免簽入境，多數可停留最長 90 天，部分國籍為 14 到 30 天，規定與適用國家會調整，務必在出發前上外交部領事事務局官網查你的護照國籍，並確認護照效期足夠；實際免簽天數與資格請以官方公告為準。入境卡則建議抵台前先線上填好，通常可於入境前 7 天內在內政部移民署系統填寫，省去在機場排隊手寫，這是穩定的常態作法，但表單網址與細節仍以官方頁面為準。

Day 1・桃園機場進市區＋信義夜景。從桃園國際機場進台北，最好認的是搭「桃園機場捷運」，直達車由機場到台北車站約 35 分鐘，普通車較慢但停靠站多；基本票價與末班車時間請以桃園捷運官網為準。到台北車站後轉台北捷運或計程車進飯店。放好行李後直攻信義區：傍晚先到台北 101 附近吃飯逛街，再上 89 樓觀景台看夜景——觀景台大約 10:00 到 21:00 開放、最後入場約在關門前，實際開放時間與票價以台北 101 官網為準。買票想省時可以先線上訂快速通行票。

Day 2・台北經典一日。早上先去中正紀念堂看整點衛兵交接，再搭捷運到龍山寺感受最有煙火氣的老台北，周邊剝皮寮、艋舺很好逛。下午轉西門町，年輕、好逛、好吃；晚上挑一個夜市收尾。第一次來我推饒河街夜市（規模適中、好逛）或士林夜市（最大、最觀光）。夜市幾乎全用現金或悠遊卡，記得留點零錢。想更完整的市區規劃，可看 Taipeicategory and Taiwan Food Guide。

Day 3・近郊一日遊，二選一。想要山城老街與燈籠氛圍就選九份，可從台北搭火車到瑞芳再轉公車，或參加一日團省去轉車，搭配平溪線放天燈（十分）是經典組合，適合喜歡慢步調、拍照的人。想看海與奇岩就選北海岸：野柳地質公園的女王頭，再串起金山老街，這條線自駕或一日團最順。兩個方案都會花上大半天，轉車較多、怕麻煩的人直接訂一日遊最省心，交通與導覽細節可參考Transport Guide。

Day 4 用高鐵下台中，一小時內換一種台灣

第四天換個節奏，用高鐵南下台中。台北到台中高鐵最快約 1 小時內，車程短、班次密。台北到左營全程標準車廂對號座約新台幣 1,490 元，台北到台中為較短區間、票價較低；確切票價與時刻請以台灣高鐵官網或訂票系統為準。到了高鐵台中站，再轉台鐵或公車進市區。

台中經典路線是：白天到高美濕地看夕陽木棧道，午後逛審計新村、綠光計畫拍照喝咖啡，晚上收在逢甲夜市大吃。若不想拖行李，可把台北飯店留著、當天來回；想深玩就在台中住一晚，隔天早上再上高鐵回台北接機場交通。台中怎麼玩、住哪裡，可延伸看 Taichung分類。第五天別排太滿，上午在飯店附近或台北車站商圈補伴手禮：鳳梨酥、茶葉、牛軋糖都是熱門選擇，之後從台北車站搭桃園機場捷運回機場，直達車約 35 分鐘，記得預留報到與安檢時間，國際線建議提早抵達。行李多也可考慮機場接送或計程車。

Frequently Asked Questions

For five days in Taiwan, should I use an EasyCard or just take taxis everywhere?

In the city, the EasyCard is definitely the way to go. Taipei's MRT network is dense with frequent service, and paired with buses and YouBike it can get you to most attractions at low cost. Save taxis or ride-hailing for late nights, traveling in a group, or when you have large luggage.

With only five days, is Taichung worth a dedicated trip?

It's worth it, but it depends on your preferences. The HSR from Taipei to Taichung takes under an hour at its fastest, so a day trip is doable. If you love sea views, sunsets, and hip little cafes, you'll enjoy Taichung. But if you'd rather explore Taipei and its surroundings in depth, you could swap Day 4 for Maokong, Tamsui, or the Beitou hot springs instead.

Do I need to book HSR tickets in advance?

For peak times (weekends and holidays), it's best to book ahead on the official Taiwan High Speed Rail website or app, where you may also find early-bird discounts. On weekday off-peak hours you can usually buy at the counter and still get a seat, but booking ahead gives you peace of mind. Actual fares and discounts are subject to the official website.

How long can I stay in Taiwan visa-free?

It depends on your nationality. Travelers from many countries can stay visa-free for up to 90 days, while some get 14 to 30 days, and the rules can change. Before you depart, check the Bureau of Consular Affairs (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) website for your nationality and the latest rules, and make sure your passport has enough validity.

What's the fastest way to get online after landing?

The easiest option is to buy an eSIM before you leave; just connect once you land and you're good to go, with no need to queue for a card at the airport.
